FPT to advance 10pct cash dividend

FPT Joint Stock Co (FPT) has announced to advance cash dividend for the first six months of this year.

Accordingly, the ex-dividend date would be August 29 and the company will close the shareholders book on August 31 to pay 10 percent cash dividend (1,000 dong per share).

The dividend payment is scheduled on September 23.

Ending the first seven months of this year, FPT reported gaining 1.347 trillion dong profit before tax, equaling to 51 percent of the year’s target (2.622 trillion dong).

On the stock market, with the purchase of additional 27 billion dong for FPT shares on August 11, foreign investors raised their holding in the local firm to 49 percent stake.
