Vinci has won two contracts in Vietnam worth 88 million euro (US$104.4 million), reviving its activity in the country, the French construction group said on Tuesday December 27.
It is to build new headquarters on 33,000 square metres for the country’s national television broadcaster in Hanoi in a contract worth 61 million euro.
The project will be carried out in partnership with Sumitomo Mitsui, the commercial lending arm of Japanese bank Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, and last 28 months, Vinci said in a statement.
Vinci also signed an agreement to build a thermal plant that will supply the southern part of Vietnam. Work will last 26 months, it said.
