Fresh Domestic Water to Rise Up To 18,000 dong/m3 from July 11
The Ministry of Finance has just issued new price frame for domestic water in the country which rises from 16.7 percent to 110 percent from previous prices, the new prices will be applied from July 11, 2012.
Prices of clean domestic water in special cities and city level 1 will be raised to the lowest level of VND3,500/m3 up 16.7 percent from the current price and to the highest level of VND18,000/m3, up 50 percent from current level.
Prices of clean domestic water in cities level 2,3,4,5 will be raised to the lowest level of VND3,000/m3 and to the highest level of VND15,000/m3, up 50 percent both from current level.
Prices of clean domestic water in the rural area will be raised to the lowest level of VND2,000/m3 and to the highest level of VND11,000/m3, up 100 percent and 37.5 percent, respectively from current levels.
