Gasoline retail price touches over 400,000 dong/12kg cylinder

Gasoline price in the world market surged sharply (it is offering at $910-920 per tonne), up about $30 from early January.

As calculated by gas traders, if gas price in the world market continues to be high like currently, local gasoline retail price from early February 2012 is forecasted to increase by 5,000-6,000 dong per 12 kilogram cylinder. The new gas retail price will range between 390,000-400,000 dong per 12kg cylinder.

Currently, domestic gas retail price is from 385,000-395,000 dong/12kg cylinder. Gas price of Elf Gas and Shell Gas is up to over 415,000 dong/12kg cylinder.
