GMC estimates profit of over 38 dong in 7 months

Le Quang Hung, Head of Board of Management, Saigon Garment Manufacturing Trade Jsc (GMC) said that, by July, 2012 GMC estimated to earn 520 billion dong of revenue and 38 – 40 billion dong of profit. (of which, GMC gained 470 billion dong of revenue and 35 billion dong of profit in the H1/2012).

GMC has recently signed exporting contracts with its partners with the time from now to the end of October, 2012 and it is going to sign some contracts in November, 2012. The target of GMC in the future will reduce exports in European market and increasing exports to the United States market.

In 2012, GMC has set up a target of 900 billion dong of revenue and 55 billion dong of pre tax profit and 20 percent of dividend.
