Le Quang Hung, chair of management board in Saigon Garment Joint Stock Co (coded GMC) announced that the company would submit the targeted business plan for approval in the coming annual general meeting (AGM) that is supposed to be held on April 7, 2012. The company has set target to achieve whole year revenue of 850 billion dong and profit of 50 billion dong.
Despite setting up targeted revenue plan of 850 billion dong, GMC would try its best to reach total revenue of 1 trillion dong this year. On March 21, the garment firm would pay 2011 dividend – the second round for existing shareholders at applied ratio of 10 percent.
In 2013, GMC would aim to obtain total revenue of no less than 1 trillion dong, and pay dividend at 20 percent at minimum.
Last year, the company reported to reach pre-tax profit of 52.5 billion dong, surpassing the targeted year plan by 31 percent.
