Hanoi floor sets three records in one session

Three records on index, value and volume were set up on Thursday January 11 trading session at the Hanoi Securities Trading Centre with The HASTC-Index passing the 300-point level for the first time, gaining 9.84 points to close at 301.04.

This is the seventh consecutive increases of the index since beginning of the year.

A record volume of 5.49 million shares were traded for a record value of nearly dong 468 billion, up 51.05% in volume and 41.38% in value against the previous trading session.

Foreign investors bought a total of 2.28 million shares accounting for 41.68% of the day’s trade. They bought PPC (1.8 million), NTP (100,000), BVS (99,320), SSI (27,100) and some others while sold only few symbols of BMI, ICF, NTP, SSI and VNR.

Thursday session also saw the trading of two bonds CP061113 and QH061103 with a total volume of 1 million, worth over 101 billion dong.
