HBC to trade over 20m additional shares from July 31

Hochiminh Stock Exchange (STC) has recently announced to list and trade additional shares of Hoa Binh Real Estate and Construction Joint Stock Co (coded HBC) on the southern bourse.

Accordingly, HBC will list more than 20 million additionally issued shares on the southern bourse from July 23 and the official trading session would be from July 31. The total value of these shares would be 200 billion dong.

These shares were issued to pay dividend and bonus shares to the company’s existing shareholders.

Thus, from July 31, there will be over 57 million HBC-coded shares being traded on STC, equalling to over 570 billion dong.

Ending the second quarter of 2012, the holding company HBC gained more than 780 billion dong revenue and nearly three billion dong after tax profit, equalling to the figures of the same period last year.
