HCM City industrial production rises 12.8%

May’s industrial production value in HCM City is estimated at 21.043 trillion dong, up 4.5% against the previous month. In the first five-months of this year, HCM City has reached 94.816 trillion dong of total production value, up 12.8% compared with the same period of last year.
Of which, foreign-invested enterprises’ industrial production value has reached 30.803 trillion dong, up 23.2% against the same period last year, central state-owned enterprises’ is estimated at 21.946 trillion dong, up 4.1%, local SOEs’ has reached 6.6 trillion dong, up 7.7% against the same period last year and the private sector has earned 33.467 trillion dong of industrial production output, up 15%.
