HCM City industrial production rises 15%

HCM City industrial production value in October reached 9.248 trillion dong, an increase of 4.5% against September and bringing he total industrial production value in the first ten months of this year to 82.094 trillion dong, an increase of 15.1% year-on-year, the city’s industry department reported
Domestic businesses accounted for 60.035 trillion dong, up 16.5% on the year-earlier period. Nine industries posted growth of over 15%: garments up 20.7%, paper 24.7%, wooden products 29.7%, and rubber and plastic products rose 28.6%.
