HCM City’s Q1 export import turnover reaches over $12b

The HCM City Customs Department on April 7 reported that during Q1, the city’s total export import turnover via border gates was estimated at over $12 billion.

Of which, main export items were rubber, coffee, rice with total value of over $4.2 billion.

Major import commodities were cloth, electronic products and foodstuff with total value of over $7.8 billion.

The city’s border gates collected over 10.5 trillion dong of taxes, reaching over 22 percent against the year’s estimate.
