After one month of officially being launched (from July 9 to August 9), the HNX30 Index has experienced 24 trading sessions with 11 gains and 13 declines, gaining total 3.91 points (2.96%) to 135.98 points against the reference threshold on the launching date at 132.07 points. Meanwhile, the HNX Index of Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) gained only 1.56%.
According to HNX, in the first trading month, the HNX30 Index has expressed its representative role for top stocks with good liquidity when the trading volume and value of stocks in HNX30 always accounted for the largest proportion against the whole market. The total trading volume for the group of stock in HNX30 reached 490.94 million units valued at 5.037 trillion dong, an average of 21.34 million units per session and average trading value at 219 billion dong per session, accounting for 55.8 percent of the total trading volume and 53.57 percent of the total trading value on the market.
Amongst these stocks, there were 24 gainers, five losers and one remained unchanged namely OCH.
Taking the top list of gainers was VND with 23.91 percent and followed by share codes such as SHB, DCS, KLS and SCR. Strongest losers were NTP and SDU with a fall of over 5%.
