Hong Kong Airlines opens Hanoi office

Hong Kong Airlines officially opened a branch office in Hanoi, Tuesday May 15 and to mark the event, the carrier is offering a “Buy 1 Get 1 Free” Hanoi-Hong Kong promotion May 21-June 20.

On April 25, the carrier obtained a license from the Vietnam Administration of Civil Aviation to run seven Hanoi-Hong Kong flights a week.

Hong Kong Airlines is the 24th airline to operate out of Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport. It is only the third carrier to fly from Hanoi to Hong Kong, apart from Vietnam Airlines and Cathay Pacific.

Hong Kong Airlines, established in 2006, mainly flies routes to China. Vietnam was is the company’s first Southeast Asian destination.
