Import tariff on coke coal to be raised

Ministry of Finance (MoF) yesterday issued a circular No 89/2012/TT-BTC adjusting the import tariff on coke coal and half-coke coal under the category 2704.

In details, for the coke coal and half-coke coal products under the sub-category 2704.00.10 and 2704.00.20, the ministry would impose an import tariff of 3 percent.

Meanwhile, for the products under sub-category 2704.00.30, the import tax would remain unchanged at 0 percent, following the circular No 157/2011/TT-BTC issued by MoF.

The new tariff would be applied from July 14, 2012.
