Indonesia’s Elnusa H1 net profit up 132.4% on stronger sales
Indonesian oil and gas services company PT Elnusa Tbk, a unit of state-run oil and gas company PT Pertamina, said on Thursday its net profit in the first six months to June more than doubled, aided by higher sales.
Elnusa said net profit rose to 85.37 billion rupiah (US$9.35 million) in the period against 36.72 billion rupiah a year before.
Sales jumped 31.3% to 1.17 trillion rupiah from 888.6 billion rupiah. Operating profit increased 55.2% to 62.56 billion rupiah. Earnings per share rose to 11.69 rupiah from 6.29 rupiah, the company said.
