Indonesia’s Pertamina ups stake in Donggi Senoro LNG

Indonesian state-owned oil and gas company PT PERTAMINA will increase its stake in PT DONGGI SENORO LNG, which has a liquefied natural gas (LNG) project in Central Sulawesi, from 29 percent to 31%. Pertamina will acquire the additional stake from PT MEDCO LNG INDONESIA, Pertamina president Karen Kardinah Agustiawan said.

* The acquisition will reduce the shares of Medco to 18 percent in Donggi Senoro, with MITSUBISHI CORP. (TSE: 8058) maintaining the majority 51 percent stake.

* Donggi Senoro will build an LNG plant in the regency of Banggai using gas from the Senoro and Matindok (Donggi) gas fields.
