ING Bank officially enters Vietnam market
Global finance group ING on April 10 announced to open the representative of ING Bank in Vietnam and start operation from May 7, the Saigon Tiep Thi Online reported.
ING Bank appointed Remco Gaanderse (Danish), an over 20-year experienced man in ING, to the Head of Representative Office in Vietnam.
Earlier, ING Bank joined the capital arrangement and book management for the agreement of funding $1.5 billion to Mong Duong 2 thermo power plant – the largest private electricity project in Vietnam so far.
Vaughn Richtor, general director of ING Bank Asia said that the opening of its rep office aimed at developing the commercial banking network to 14 markets in Asia.
Hanoi Rep Office of ING Bank will support European customers of ING Bank to expand business in the region.
