The prime minister issued Instruction 08/2005/CT-TTg dated April 4, 2005 speeding up the progress of building draft laws and ordinances in 2005 in preparation for Vietnam’s entry into the World Trade Organisation (WTO).
Accordingly, the prime minister requires ministries, state agencies and others relevant to focus on essential and important contents aimed at the WTO entry of Vietnam in close cooperation with agencies of the National Assembly (NA) to target the unity of draft laws, ordinances and other relevant legal documents related to agreements of the WTO.
For legal documents ministries and local agencies or authorities have issued, the legal documents will have to be ensured in accordance with the regulations on WTO member obligations and Vietnamese pledges with the world organisation.
Also under the above instruction, the NA Standing Committee will consider and approve of the ordinance on public procurement in May 2005.
