Investment licenses for 33 FDI projects to be cancelled and revoked in 2010

The statistics released by the HCM City Department of Planning and Investment showed that there were 33 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects to be cancelled and revoked investment licenses in HCM City during 2010, most of which were small and medium-scaled ones.

It was said that some projects had been granted investment licenses since 1993, and some in 2010.

Over one third of those projects focused on developing and producing soft wares and the rest in such sectors as services, real estate, and shoes and foot-wares.

There were 27 among 33 investors of those fore-mentioned projects come from Asian countries.
