Issuing land use registration certificates proposed in HCM City

The HCM City Service of Natural Resources and Environment has proposed the HCM City People’s Committee to grant land use registration certificates for people without residential registration certificates in HCM City based on the current regulations of the land law.
According to the environment service, there have been many obstacles in administration and use of the land as well as administration of people living in the locality and at the same time there have been also land disputes because there is a number of people that still reside in the city and have land pieces without their own land registration certificates.
The service also proposed the city level committee to consider specific time and regulations so that each subordinate state agency can issue land use registration certificates for households and individuals based on practical land use needs.
The commune or town level people’s committee of a commune or town will be authorised to resolve the issuance of land use registration certificates from 20 days backwards; the ward level committee of a ward will be permitted to resettle the same work of the issuance of land use registration certificates within 55 days; 30 days given for any subordinate state agencies of natural resources and environment to resolve the issuance.
