Japan, EU to set up cybersecurity forum
Internal Affairs and Communications minister Tatsuo Kawabata and European Commission vice President Neelie Kroes have agreed to set up an Internet security forum between Japan and the European Union to promote joint efforts in combatting cyber-attacks.
The forum will bring together representatives from Japanese and European government organisations to share information on cyber-attacks. Japan already has a similar framework in place with the United States.
