July 11: Foreigners Continue to Sell on STC, Boost Buying on HNX
Foreigners extended net selling string of Vietnamese shares on the primary bourse STC while they boosted net buying activities on the smaller cap bourse, HNX.
These players net sold VND25.4 billion worth of shares on STC after buying 1.2 million shares for VND20.39 billion and selling 2.1 million units for VND45.79 billion, accounting for 6.05 percent buying value and 13.59 percent selling value. These figures showed that net selling was mostly the result of falling demand.
Today, foreigners’ top buying shares were PVT (VND2 billion), ABT(VND0.8 billion), VNE (VND0.7 billion), HVG (VND0.6 billion) and VCF (VND0.6 billion).
Foreigners’ top selling shares were VIC(-VND10.7billion), SSI(-VND7.4 billion), KBC(-VND2 billion), HPG(-VND2 billion) and HAG(-VND1.9 billion).
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, foreigners net bought VND10.44 billion worth of shares after buying 1.37 million shares for VND10.88 billion and selling 76,000 units for VND435.8 million, accounting for 5.54 percent buying value and 0.22 percent selling value.
They actively bought HBB, PGS, SHB, PVG, VND while they actively offloaded PVX, AAA, SHS, TMC and HPG shares.
