July 11: UPCoM-Index Bucks Trend Closing Down on Thin Volume
The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 130 unlisted public companies, closed down today on thin volume.
The index lost 0.05 point, or 0.14 percent, to end at 36.5. The market volume fell to 290,400 worth of VND2.88 billion compared with 586,199 worth of VND5.16 billion a day earlier.
Market breadth, however, turned positive as 18 rallied, 10 tumbled, 3 unchanged and the rest closed unmoved.
VNX was the biggest gainer, climbing 10 percent to finish at VND3,300 on a trade of 100 shares.
In the downswing, TTR was the biggest loser, erasing 39.7 percent to close at VND7,000 on a trade of 10,600 units.
FBA International Group (FBA) was the most active stock today on the bourse with 86,300 shares traded, closing up 6.7 percent to VND8,200.
Foreigners net bought 3,700 shares on this bourse today.
