July 25: UPCoM-Index Edges Down as Selling Continues
The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 131 unlisted public companies, fell for fourth straight day as selling pressure persisted following losses on major bourses.
The index inched down 0.04 point, or 0.11 percent, to end at 37.08. The market volume totalled510,000 shares valued at VND2.31 billion, compared with 412,000 shares and VND2.12 billion from a day earlier.
Among index members, 13 increased in value, 16 tumbled, and 102 closed unmoved. Up to 97 stocks closed untraded.
DNS was the biggest gainer, climbing 8 percent to finish at VND4,100 on a trade of 100 shares.
In the downswing, MAS was the biggest loser, erasing 10 percent to close at VND8,100 on a trade of 100 units.
VDT was the most active on the gauge with 226,000 shares changed hands, which closed unmoved at VND2,800.
Foreigners net bought VND44.26 million worth of shares on this bourse today.
