Jun 19: UPCoM-Index Falls Following Official Bourses

The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 128 unlisted public companies, declined for a second day on Tuesday following losses in the official bourses.

The index slid 0.11 point, or 0.3 percent, to end at 36.32. The market volume totalled 257,000 shares valued at VND1.5 billion, compared with 480,000 shares and VND4.13 billion from a day earlier

Market breadth was negative as 12 rallied, 14 tumbled, and 102 closed unmoved. Up to 97 stocks closed untraded.

PMT was the biggest gainer, climbing 9.84 percent to finish at VND6,700 on a common trade of 9,400 shares.

MAS was the biggest loser, erasing 9 percent to close at VND7,100 on a trade of 100 units.

FBA was the most active stock on the gauge with 150,000 shares changed hands, which climbed 8.9 percent to VND4,900.

Foreigners stayed on the sidelines today.
