Jun 25: UPCoM-Index Bucks Trend to Close Up

The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 128 unlisted public companies, bucked trend to close up today, despite losses in the official bourses.

The index added 0.21 point or 0.58 percent to end at 36.45. The market volume totalled 375,022 shares valued at VND2.43 billion, compared with 373,440 shares valued at VND3.59 billion,from a day earlier

Market breadth was positive as 17 rallied, 13 tumbled, 4 closed unmoved and the rest untraded.

ADP was the biggest gainer, climbing 10 percent to finish at VND12,200 on a common trade of 5,000 shares.

GTH was the biggest loser, erasing 9.5 percent to close at VND5,700 on a trade of 200 units.

FBA was the most active stock on the gauge with 176,700 shares changed hands, which closed 5 percent higher to VND6,500.
