Jun 27: UPCoM-Index Extends Loss

The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 129 unlisted public companies, lost ground today following official bourses on local selling.

The index lost 0.01 point, or 0.03 percent, to end at 36.4. The market volume rose to 671,300 shares valued at VND12.52 billion, compared with 284,000 shares valued at VND2 billion, from a day earlier.

Market breadth was negative as 14 rallied, 18 tumbled, 4 unchanged and the rest closed unmoved.

TTG was the biggest gainer, climbing 9.68 percent to finish at VND3,400 on a trade of 200 shares.

In the downswing, CT3 was the biggest loser, erasing 9.76 percent to close at VND7,400 on a trade of 100 units.

GDW was the most active stock on the gauge with 355,000 shares changed hands, which closed flat at to VND29,400.

Foreigners bought 9,700 BTW shares today.
