Jun 28: UPCoM-Index Edges up Following Main Bourses

The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 129 unlisted public companies, edged up as big stocks advanced on positive performances on main bourses.

The index rallied 0.01 point, or 0.03 percent, to end at 36.41. The market volume totalled 418,000 shares valued at VND3.5 billion, compared with 671,000 shares and VND12.5 billion from a day earlier.

Among index members, 10 rallied, 14 tumbled, and 105 closed unmoved. Up to 99 stocks closed untraded.

SGS was the biggest gainer, climbing 10 percent to finish at VND3,300 on a trade of 1,000 shares.

HDM was the biggest loser, erasing 9.9 percent to close at VND8,200 on a trade of 1,300 units.

FBA was the most active stock on the gauge with 240,000 shares changed hands, which closed up 6.85 percent to VND7,800.

Foreigners bought 9,100 BTW shares today.
