June 5: UPCoM-Index Gains Following Official Bourses

The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 129 unlisted public companies, edged up on Tuesday as stocks gained ground following main bourses.

The index added 0.01 points, or 0.03 percent, to end at 35.86. Market volume was 452,000 shares valued at VND1.98 billion, compared with 812,000 shares and VND2.79 billion from a day earlier.

Market breadth was positive where 23 rallied, 9 tumbled, and 97 closed unmoved.

DTV was the biggest gainer, climbing 10 percent to finish at VND6,600 on a common trade of 200 shares.

PTD was the biggest loser, erasing 9.72 percent to close at VND6,500 on a trade of 100 units.

NOS was the most active stock on the gauge with 138,000 shares changed hands, which closed unmoved at VND2,700.

Foreigners bought 8,200 BTW shares and 1,800 VQC shares today.
