June 6: Foreigners Continue to Net Sell on Both Bourses

Foreigners continued to sell Vietnamese shares today on both two bourses, level of participating fell.

These players net sold VND47.58 billion worth of shares on STC after buying 1.43 million shares for VND33.27 billion and selling 3.2 million units for VND80.85 billion, accounting for 1.9 percent buying value and 4.63 percent selling value. These data showed that their level of participation fell by half today from yesterday.

Today, foreigners’ top buying shares were MBB(VND1.2 billion), PHR(VND1.1 billion), DPM (VND0.9 billion), PET (VND0.55 billion) and VNM (VND0.52 billion).

Foreigners’ top selling shares were HAG(-VND19.7 billion), SSI (-VND7.5 billion), VIC(-VND6.9 billion), EIB(-VND5.3 billion) and HSG(-VND3.2 billion). Financial shares were on top net-selling list.

On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, foreigners net sold VND0.5 billion worth of shares after buying 0.2 million shares for VND3.38 billion and selling 0.27 million units for VND3.86 billion, accounting for 0.97 percent buying value and 1.11 percent selling value.

They actively bought DBC, VNC, PGS, VGP and AAA shares while they actively offloaded PVS, VCG, DXP, SKS and VIG shares.
