Korean firms focus on power industry

The Korean backed Tae Kwang Vina Industrial Co Ltd has sought the Dong Nai provincial authorities’ approval to invest US$1 billion in a project to build a thermal power plant capable of producing 7,880 GWh a year in the Phuoc An commune, Nhon Trach district.

The project investors are the Korean Power Corporation, the Korean based Huchems Co and the Tae Kwang Vina Industrial Co.
