Korea’s US$10m property project licensed

South Korean construction and telecom company GNS Telecom Co Ltd will invest some US$10 million to build high-rise apartment buildings in the northern city of Hai Phong.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment has granted an investment license to the company to set up Vina GNS Co Ltd to carry out the project in So Dau in Hong Bang District, Hai Phong’s Service of Planning and Investment said on April 6.
With a licensed period of 50 years, Vina GNS will develop three 18-20-floor blocks on 15,000 square metres. Work on the city’s first foreign-invested apartment project will begin some time this year.
