Land management system to be set up

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is setting up a project to build a modern system for land registration nationwide to submit to the government for approval in order to promote state management role in managing and using lands.

This system will contain updated information to be exchanged among state agencies of managing land, tax agencies, commercial banks and state treasury. Land users must register land prices based on frame prices regulated by the state. Compensations for site clearances, land using tax and income tax on land using rights will be calculated based on the registered prices.
