LAS to pay 2011 dividend at 40pct

Lam Thao Fertiliser and Chemical Joint Stock Co (coded LAS) held the annual general meeting (AGM) lately. In the meeting, the company approved the 2011 business reports and worked out the 2012 year plan.

In details, last year, LAS reported gaining total revenue of 4.056 trillion dong and after tax profit of 299 billion dong. The company would pay dividend at 40 percent rate, of which 20 percent would be paid in cash and the rest 20 percent in shares.

Previously, LAS had already advanced first round dividend at 10 percent in December 2011.

This year, the company has set target to reach whole year revenue of 4.2 trillion dong, after tax profit of 285 billion dong and pay dividend at 20 percent at minimum.

Last month, the company has already produced 25,332 tonnes of sulphuric acid and 145,192 tonnes of fertiliser, meanwhile sold 562 tonnes of acid and 166,729 tonnes of fertiliser.
