Lisemco sells 10pct stake to Japanese strategic partner

Hai Phong Equipment Manufacturing and Shipbuilding One-member Co Ltd (Lisemco), a subsidiary of Vietnam Machinery Installation Corp (Lilama), has recently succeeded in selling 10 percent stake, equalling to 2.5 million shares at the price of 10.800 dong per share to Japanese strategic partner namely Sugatec Joint Stock Co.

Lisemco estimates its chartered capital will be 250 billion dong after making equitisation, of which, the state shareholder holds 52.02 percent stake, employees at 3.18 percent and its Sugatec strategic shareholder 10 percent stake. The remaining 34.8 percent stake will be auctioned to the public via Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) on January 17, 2012 at the initial price of 10,800 dong each.
