Local wooden furniture exporter posted US$10m earnings

Truong Thanh Wood Furniture Limited Liability Co, a leading wooden furniture exporter in the southern province of Binh Duong, achieved export turnover of US$10 million in the first three-months with major destination of mostly being European countries and Japan.
In 2005, the enterprise targets export earnings of US$25 million, an increase of 32% against last year. It has expanded production and business so as to increase domestic revenue from 5% to 20% in the year.
The company now has six wooden furniture production factories in the central highland province of Dak Lak, the southern province of Binh Duong and HCM City.
In the start of the year, the firm has invested 15 billion dong to build a supermarket of wooden furniture named Furni-Mart in 519 Dien Bien Phu street in Binh Thanh district, which is expected to come on line on April 24.
