March 14: UPCoM-Index Closes Up, Liquidity Stays Low
The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 130 unlisted public companies closed up on Wednesday following the prime bourse, however, liquidity stayed at low level.
The index added 0.11 point, or 0.32 percent to close at 34.5. The gauge started with given mark of 100 on June 24, 2009 but it has never been back to that level.
The market volume eased to 153,700 shares changed hands for VND0.79 billion versus 163,078 shares changed hands fro VND0.92 billion yesterday.
The market breadth was positive with 17 gainers, 12 losers, 10 unmoved and the rest untraded.
GDW was the biggest gainer, climbing VND3,300 to finish at VND13,500 on a trade of 3,000 shares.
IN4 was the biggest loser, giving up VND1,000 to close at VND9,100 with 200 units changed hands.
PVC was the most active stock with 43,200 shares traded, closed flat at VND3,600.
Foreigners bought 700 VQC shares today.
