The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 130 unlisted public companies, bucked trend to close up for the second day on Friday, liquidity fell.
The index added 0.1 point or 0.28 percent to close at 35.67.The gauge started with given mark of 100 on June 24, 2009 but it has never been back to that level.
The market volume dropped to 289,030 shares changed hands for VND2.14 billion, compared with 514,320 shares changed hands for VND5.59 billion on Thursday trading.
However, the market breadth was negative with 13 gainers, 18 losers, 11 unmoved and the rest untraded.
DTV was the biggest gainer today, climbing VND500 to close at VND7,400/unit on a trade of 100 shares.
GHC was the biggest loser today, giving up VND1,600 to close at VND15,400 with 100 units changed hands.
UDJ was the most active stock today with 76,900 shares traded, losing VND500 to close at VND8,400/units.
Foreigners bought 3,400DMB shares; 1000 DDN; 3,800IME shares today.
