May 14: UPCoM-Index Closes Down Following Official Bourses

The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 130 unlisted public companies closed down on Monday following official bourses, liquidity was still in low level.

The index fell 0.23 point or 0.64 percent to close at 35.44.The gauge started with given mark of 100 on June 24, 2009 but it has never been back to that level.

The market volume edged up to 335,052 shares changed hands for VND1.61billion, compared with 289,030 shares changed hands for VND2.14 billion on last Friday trading.

The market breadth was negative with 13 gainers, 23 losers, 3 unmoved and the rest untraded.

ADP was the biggest gainer today, climbing VND900 to hit the ceiling at VND9,900/unit on a trade of 500 shares.

CZC was the biggest loser today, giving up VND3,000 to hit the floor at VND4,500 with 5,700 units changed hands.

VPC was the most active stock today with 92,200 shares traded, adding VND300 to hit the ceiling at VND3,900/units.

Foreigners sold 200 CFC shares; 4,800 PSP shares today.
