The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 130 unlisted public companies closed down for the second consecutive day on Tuesday following official bourses. Liquidity was still in low level.
The index fell 0.18 point or 0.51 percent to close at 35.26.The gauge started with given mark of 100 on June 24, 2009 but it has never been back to that level.
The market volume dropped to 271,850 shares changed hands for VND1.52 billion, compared with 335,052 shares changed hands for VND1.61billion on Monday.
The market breadth was negative with 13 gainers, 23 losers, 4 unmoved and the rest untraded.
SPC was the biggest gainer today, climbing VND1,800 to hit the ceiling at VND20,000/unit on a trade of 100 shares.
BTW was the biggest loser today, giving up VND1,000 to close at VND10,000 with 6,700 units changed hands.
VPC was the most active stock for the second day today with 77,800 shares traded, losing VND200 to close at VND3,700/units.
Foreigners sold 700 PSP shares today.
