The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 130 unlisted public companies bucked trend of the official bourses to close up for the fourth consecutive day on Tuesday. Liquidity improved significantly.
The index added 0.13 point or 0.36 percent to close at 36.4.The gauge started with given mark of 100 on June 24, 2009 but it has never been back to that level.
The market volume increased to 1,019,869 shares changed hands for VND4.81 billion, compared with 265,566 shares changed hands for VND1.93 billion on Monday trading.
The market breadth was positive with 20 gainers, 14 losers, 7 unmoved and the rest untraded.
SDI was the biggest gainer today, climbing VND3,000 to hit the ceiling at VND33,800/unit on a trade of 300 shares.
WSB was the biggest loser today, giving up VND900 to close at VND15,000 with 3,000 units changed hands.
ND2 was the most active stock today with 800,775 shares traded, losing VND400 to hit the floor at VND4,200/unit.
Foreigners stayed on the sidelines today.
