The UPCoM-Index closed slightly higher on Wednesday following improving sentiment on official bourses.
The index added 0.06 points, or 0.16 percent, to end at 36.44. The gauge was created in 2009 at the start of 100 points, the highest ever.
The market volume totalled 297,000 shares valued at VND1.63 billion, compared with 437,000 shares and VND2.89 billion a day earlier.
Market breadth was positive, 20 rallied, 12 tumbled, and 99 closed unmoved. Up to 93 stocks closed untraded.
C32 was the biggest gainer, climbing 13 percent to finish at VND2,600 on a common trade of 100 shares.
PTH was the biggest loser, erasing 19 percent to close at VND1,300 on a trade of 100 units.
FBA was the most active stock on the gauge with 108,000 shares changed hands, which closed up 2.56 percent at VND4,000.
Foreigners bought 10,200 BTW shares and 500 VCT shares today.
