May 7: UPCoM-Index Closes Up Following Official Bourses

The UPCoM-Index, the measure of 130 unlisted public companies rebounded to close up on Monday, following official bourses. Liquidity improved but still in low level.

The index added 0.01 point or 0.03 percent to close at 35.16.The gauge started with given mark of 100 on June 24, 2009 but it has never been back to that level.

The market volume edged up to 648,399 shares changed hands for VND5.1 billion compared with 430,080 shares changed hands for VND2.9 on last Friday trading.

The market breadth was positive with 27 gainers, 11 losers, 6 unmoved and the rest untraded.

DDN was the biggest gainer today, climbing VND1,100 to close at VND16,400/unit on a trade of 100 shares.

SCO was the biggest loser today, giving up VND600 to close at VND6,900 with 300 units changed hands.

UDJ was the most active stock today with 186,700 shares traded, losing VND400 to close at VND10,800/unit.

Foreigners bought 3,400 DBM shares and sold 11,800 WSB shares today.
