Maybank invests another US$15m in Vietnam

Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank) of Malaysia has decided to invest a total of US$15 million in opening its second branch in Vietnam, situated in HCM City, following a branch in Hanoi established for 10 years.
Opening the second branch in Vietnam is in Maybank’s strategy to expand its operation to Asean countries, especially focusing on developed countries in the region.
Maybank is one of Asean’s five leading banks and has set up branches in seven out of ten Asean countries.
