Meeting held to control fleeing workers in Korea

Overseas Labour Management Board of the Vietnam Embassy in South Korea met with eight Vietnamese manpower export companies which had sent guest workers to the country. At the meeting, representative of Overseas Worker Management Board and representatives of these companies discussed about solutions to manage and call for Vietnamese guest workers absconding to return to Vietnam according to policy of clemency of the South Korean government.

At the meeting, counsellor in charge of employment of Vietnam Embassy in South Korea, Dao Cong Hai appreciated cooperation of Overseas Worker Management Department under the Ministry of Labour, War Invalid and Social Affairs of Vietnam with Overseas Labour Management Board of Vietnam Embassy in South Korea on manpower export programme under new regulation of the South Korean government. Also, he agreed solutions to management of Vietnamese guest workers and sustainable development of employment market of Vietnam in South Korea.
