Minh Phu seafood processor fetches nearly $212m export turnover in Jan-Jul

Minh Phu Seafood Group Joint Stock Co (coded MPC) has said that in the first seven months of this year, MPC exported nearly 17,900 tonnes of shrimp, earning an export turnover of nearly $212 million, rising 32.66 percent in quantity and 30.61 percent in value over the same period last year.

In 2012, MPC targets to reach a consolidated export turnover of $500 million, export volume of 53,000 tonnes of finished product shrimp and after tax profit of 715 billion dong.

In Jan-Jun, the holding company MPC gained total revenue of nearly 3.599 trillion dong and after tax profit of 273.7 billion dong, rising 23.6 percent over the same period last year.
