Minh Phu seafood processor gains 256.5b dong profit in Q2/2012

Minh Phu Seafood Group Joint Stock Co (coded MPC) has recently reported its unconsolidated business performance for the second quarter of 2012 with net revenue of 2.107 trillion dong, down 9.9 percent over the same period last year.

However, thanks to the decrease in the original costs of goods for sale, its consolidated profit reached 193.22 billion dong, a year-on-year increase of 45%.

Its revenue from financial activities reached 247.4 billion dong, rising 15.81 percent from the same period last year.

Despite the loan cost of over 100 billion dong, in Q2/2012, the company still gained year-on-year profit growth of 22.13 percent to 256.52 billion dong.
