MoF takes over Vietnam Airlines equity stake in Pacific Airlines

Deputy prime minister Nguyen Tan Dung has recently signed in a decision on rearrangement of Pacific Airlines Joint Stock Co. Accordingly, Pacific Airlines will continue being operated in form of an joint stock company. The government will restructure the existing shareholders, transfer all stake of Vietnam Airlines to the Ministry of Finance. As regulated, the MoF is tasked to work as the state capital owner and with stake holding of 86%, MoF becomes the biggest shareholder in Pacific Airlines and in charge of undertaking necessary measures to soon stabilise activities of the company.
