More banks join interbank e-system

Another seven commercial banks with 21 branches have been accepted to connect to the interbank electronic payment system as from July 8. The banks are: Asia Commercial Bank (ACB), Dong A bank (EAB), Techcombank, Military bank, Hanoi Building Joint Stock bank (Habubank), Mekong Housing Development bank and Germany’s Deutsche Bank.

Official connection has also been kick-started at the central bank, its local branches in Hanoi, HCM City, Hai Phong, Da Nang and Can Tho.
