More than 10 enterprises get nod to import over 2.1 tonne of gold

The State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) has recently allowed over 10 enterprises to import total over 2.1 tonnes of gold, according to the general Department and Vietnam Customs on January 12, 2012.

Accordingly, DI Ltd Co is allowed to import the biggest volume of 0.45 tonnes and followed by Jewel Park Vina Ltd Co with 0.36 tonnes and Song Duong Vang Ltd Co with 0.32 tonnes of gold.

The remaining firms are allowed to import 0.13-0.18 tonnes of gold, of which, some of them are allowed to import only 6-20 kilograms of gold.

This volume of gold will be used to produce and process gold jewellery for export.
